Welcome to AZREIA’s Start Here! Program. Being new to anything has its challenges and you want to be sure before you totally commit yourself. After all, your time is valuable. This path will help you to understand more about real estate investing and AZREIA in general. Once you’ve decided about real estate investing as a way to accomplish your goals and that AZREIA membership is a great way to help you succeed, we want to help you overcome any challenges and issues you face and help you be a successful real estate investor.

Follow these steps and you should receive the information you need to decide your course of action. The steps in the Start Here! Program do not need to be completed in order except where explained.  Download your checksheet and get started!

 

Step #1 – Attend Benefits of Membership Orientation

AZREIA’s Benefits of Membership Orientation is a complete overview of everything AZREIA has to offer its members. As a large association, we offer many benefits to our members from education to networking to tremendous discounts. You need to know how to maximize your return for being part of AZREIA. Some of the topics covered include:

  • Additional Member Benefits

AZREIA’s Benefits of Membership Orientation sessions are scheduled every 30 days or so. Check the Class Schedule and register for the next session.

 

Step #2 – Sign Up for Your Free AZREIA Advantage Newsletter

The AZREIA Advantage if full of educational and informative articles on a variety of topics. It is mailed to your address every month and can be downloaded from www.azreia.org. You will receive up to three months of the AZREIA Advantage at no cost. The AZREIA Advantage is included in membership.

 

Step #3 – Attend an AZREIA Monthly Meeting and a Phoenix Real Estate Club Meeting

Education, information and networking is key to your success. Both of these meetings will help you to meet people, build your team, stay informed on the market and learn. They are an extremely good use of your time and important to your continued development and future success. This is why so many experienced investors attend every month. AZREIA members attend AZREIA’s meetings free. You will be charged a Guest Fee to attend. Your Guest Fee may be applied to your AZREIA membership on the night of the AZREIA meeting you attend. There is a fee to attend the Phoenix Real Estate Club, also.

 

Step #4 – What do you already know?

Take our Real Estate Investing Knowledge Test to find out. This test is designed to determine your general knowledge of real estate investing. The results will help you determine if you would significantly benefit from our Beginner’s Fast Start to Success class or only need the Furious Fundamentals Class. Step #5 – Furious Fundamentals or Beginner’s Fast Start to Success Class

At this point in the process, you will be able to determine which class will benefit you the most. We find that almost all new investors benefit from taking one of these classes. You may need additional knowledge to complete your business plan or a better understanding of real estate investing strategies.

The Beginner’s Fast Track to Success is a full day class designed to give the beginning investor a foundation to begin their real estate investing career. There is a charge to attend this class. This class covers:

    • Pros & Cons of Each
  • Goal Setting & Managing Your Time

Furious Fundamentals – AZREIA offers an alternative class for those who may not be able to attend the Beginner’s Fast Start to Success Class or scored high on the Real Estate Investing Knowledge test. Furious Fundamentals is three very fast paced hours of instruction for new investors. With the amount of material and limited class time, we can’t get into a lot of detail and class discussion has to be limited, but it may be just right for you. There is a charge to attend this class.

Let’s get started! You don’t have to complete the steps in order. You can start with any Step depending on your schedule or when the activity is available. The important thing is to get started. The Start Here! Program for Non-Members is just that, a start. There is so much more to being a real estate investor. Being a part of AZREIA will help you reach your goals.
