Wanted to thank you and your staff for another incredible show of professionalism. The day was perfect, the facilities wonderful, lunch was great, having access to dining room without having wear out your wallet was awesome. But most of all the serving attitude of your entire staff was top notch. I have been to hundreds of conventions and none better. Thank the staff for me. I am proud to belong to such a 1st class organization. YOU GUYS ROCK! Alan was pretty good too! Alan: you out did yourself this year. Great format. Wonderful to get through in one day. The keynote speakers were top shelf. The choices of topics were excellent, the program was awesome, It was really a perfect convention. I sat in every AZREIA and PREC meeting for over three years wondering how I would break into investing and what niche was there for me because I didn’t want to go back to residential brokerage after the fall. 31 years was enough. Thank you for providing the format to make this happen. No where else could I get this jump start. By the way I paid $10,000 to Robert Allen to find out there was such a thing as AZREIA. My wife and I attended your Buy Your First Investment Property Simulator back in October. I have been meaning to write this email for a while, but life has been very busy lately. When we first started the seminar, you had us write on our books that we would have our first property by 12/16. Aimee and I closed on our first property on Dec 4th. It is a town home we picked up for $16,500, with about $12,000 in extra costs (rehab, closing, etc.), so total in is about $28,500. We expect to rent it for $650 monthly, and after all the monthly bills associated with ownership, we will net $300-350 monthly. Just wanted to say thanks for giving us the extra push!

Over the past 3 years I have spent over $15,000 in RE investing courses and when I started getting my feet wet in the market, I learned (through hard knocks) that the only things that have really worked for me were the ideas and help that I got from AZREIA and the subgroups and talking to AZREIA members that actually invest and not the lecturers that teaches”theory”. The speakers are motivating to say the least, and throwing in a Robert Kyosoki CD every now and then keeps me pumped. But, AZREIA and the networking with the Buy and Hold subgroup has opened my eyes to reality and has saved me time and money. I joined your organization a few months ago. I’ve been active as a Realtor for almost 5 years, but I was/ am looking to expand my horizons… I took classes from Jim and Stewart concerning flipping and lease options. Then I got my self into a very difficult contract/negotiation on a home that I hoped to option. Long story short, I read your newsletter article about keeping ‘personal’ commitments & decided to go on a planned vacation in spite of the ‘problems’.. A day before we were to depart, I signed a contract on the property (purchased at 440K net & optioned at 493K a year from now)… Thanks to your suggestions and our instructors teachings, I was able to utilize tactics that I would otherwise not have known. The vacation concerned a ‘true love’ windsurfing)
